The Equipment Management group is tasked with evaluating assets and transactions on a GATX-wide basis while pursuing new business initiatives that leverage their vast equipment expertise and knowledge.
Equipment managers include specialists in railcars, marine assets, oil and gas industry assets, construction and mining equipment, power generation equipment and operating industrial facilities, to name but a few areas of expertise.
Our experience and flexibility are key to being able to evaluate single transactions or entire portfolios of diverse, specialized assets. In each case, we apply our skills in equipment valuation, negotiation, appraisal management and
asset re-marketing to optimize the outcome of lease-end negotiations for both our managed and owned portfolios.
Through this group, we have created some of GATX's longest lasting corporate relationships.
